Enhancing and enriching local culture by presenting works not typically available in this area was the intention of Buckham’s founding members. A group of local artists that saw the value in offering something different, something more ambitious that wasn’t readily available in this area.
Thanks to generous artist members, collaborative members, corporate donors and individual donors, Buckham Fine Arts Project and Gallery has offered more than 400 exhibitions of visual arts, as well as poetry readings, performing arts pieces, concerts and films since its debut in 1984.
Whether you visit Buckham Gallery in person or online, your participation and support means the world to us. It's because of your support that we continue to grow through innovative contemporary art exhibits, host community gallery events, virtual programming and engaging local creatives and non-profit organizations through programs; such as Writer In Residence, On Screen and internships.
