42nd Season Call For Entry
Buckham Gallery's 42nd Season Call For Entry seeks artists for solo and group exhibitions, as well as curatorial project proposals.
Mission Statement:
It is the mission of Buckham Fine Arts Project (BFAP) to enrich the cultural life of its surrounding communities by presenting a broad range of innovative contemporary art, both visual and non-visual, of the highest quality and standard.
BFAP contributes to the cultural health of our region by exhibiting innovative, contemporary art and by providing our community with opportunities to deeply engage with those sometimes challenging exhibitions through accessible programming and educational presentations.
BFAP defines quality in our presentations by asking the following questions of our programming:
1) Does the work present styles/perspectives/ideas not already represented in other area venues?
2) Is the work created with high technical quality and professional standards?
3) Overall, does the exhibition season include a broad variety of work that includes a range of media, ideas, and levels of accessibility?
4) Do the artists present unique statements in their chosen discipline or media?
We strive to meet these criteria in our visual and non-visual art programming.
All proposals will be judged from digital files in a blind review.
