Tickle Me Talk: 7th Annual Smallidge Lecture featuring Donovan Entrekin, Michele Leclaire, Janice McCoy, Matthew Osmon & Brian Spolans was held on November 2, 2024.
The Smallidge Family Fund was established in 2015 to honor the memory of Bernice and David Smallidge and their passion for the arts and the arts community in the Flint area. This perpetual restricted fund is maintained by the continual donations of family members and friends. The endowment funds The Annual Smallidge Family Lecture, a yearly arts-related talk hosted by Buckham Gallery.

Steal This Stage
Buckham Gallery hosted Steal This Stage, a reading featuring Catharine Batsios, Connor Coyne, Kelsey Ronan & Tim Lane—four authors whose work is immersed in, about, or influenced by growing up in Flint. September 2022.
Closing Receptions with Featured Artists
As a response to the limitations of events in the times of Covid, Artist Receptions were conceived in 2021. These receptions offered the community an opportunity to meet exhibiting artists in a more intimate atmosphere.
Matthew Owen Wead Workshop
In September 2021, BFAP presented a contextual workshop with Chicago artist, Matthew Owen Wead and the University of Michigan-Flint. Matthew Owen Wead demonstrated his bleach printmaking process and gave the community an opportunity to try it out.
