A message from the Executive Director-
Buckham is over the moon with love and gratitude for the amazing attendance at the B.Y.O.C. Fundraising event!!!
I owe my deepest gratitude to the Buckham staff, Katie Cotton and Casey DeMoss, without whom we would not have been able to install 199 works of art in two days and run a successful event. A profound thank you to the volunteers who saved the day: Amanda Edwards, Donovan Entrekin, Brandon Dotson, Taylor and Alexander Glenn, Daniel Kienitz, Matthew Osmon, and Lynn Penning.
We are forever grateful to the FIA Art School, Kay and Michael Kelly, and The Local Grocer for their sponsorship. Many thanks to the artists who participated by exhibiting their artworks, The Loose Strains for the music, and to everyone who attended the event!
Next, I would like to say thank you to all the individuals and organizations who support Buckham Fine Arts Project and Gallery, including Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Michigan Arts and Culture Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, Greater Flint Arts Council Share Art Genesee Grant program made possible by the Genesee County Arts Education and Cultural Enrichment Millage Funds. Your tax dollars are at work! Thank you!
With a full heart,
Michele Leclaire
Executive Director
