• Michele and Katie are such a dynamic duo and assets to Buckham! Friends who have stopped by to see shows have mentioned how friendly they are greeted. The shows are professionally hung, communications to members are done in a timely fashion, the website is kept up well, paper work is done effectively and fundraising tasks are performed efficiently. So proud to be a member!

Do you have any comments or feedback on your experience with Buckham Gallery that you would like to share?

• A unique venue in the Flint area; a place to see cutting edge art not shown elsewhere in Flint 
  
• Keep fighting the good fight. Stay weird. See everybody soon hopefully. 🙏 
  
• I was great to have transfer expenses reimbursed. Encourages a wider geographic range of participants.

• Others I've met have mentioned mention that some members make the environment feel more uppity than they would like so maybe just continuing to foster a welcoming environment and encouraging members, even older ones if possible to continue to be welcoming and open.
  
• Michele and the staff are amazing, they are so helpful and responsive. I have zero complaints and only the highest praise. I love the quality of the work they show and they are great at promoting the exhibitions at the gallery. My only suggestion is that for the art on the wall it would be helpful to have the name and price on the wall as well as in the brochure.

• Buckham Gallery presents a forward thinking purpose for artists. I appreciate the emails/information sent out confirming their intentions for art, artists, community. I should have planned my trip up differently to help with the installation rather than attending the opening day of show. My original exhibition contract had there would be an opening event, so I based my trip dates on that when I bought plane tickets. I was really happy with how everything looked, I just felt bad not helping to hang such a difficult show and appreciate the hard work of everyone involved.

Their positive contacts with people and members make it a great place to show work and visit.

• Following a previous exhibition at a different location that went terribly (my art was stolen off the premises and communication was largely absent) I was incredibly nervous about putting myself out there and exhibiting again. A coworker shared your call for entry with me and I decided to try to submit to a show again. This gallery has fully helped me regain my confidence! Everyone was so helpful and communicative, and the stipend was incredibly appreciated and lessened the burden that shipping a sculpture can be. Thanks to all who work there!

• My experience is that they are very supportive.
  
• Just be more consistent upfront about what is expected of artists, do they help with installation, vet the card design with the artists, and if there is or is not to be a traditional opening reception or explain the artwalk.
