Artists are invited to submit work for Buckham Gallery’s B.Y.O.C. exhibition, fundraising event, and party!
Since 1984, Buckham Fine Arts Project, a non-profit organization best known for its exhibition space, Buckham Gallery, has been located in downtown Flint, Michigan. We are committed to the vision of supporting and nurturing artists, building community and inclusivity, while challenging our audience to look at art in new ways.
B.Y.O.C. is a two day exhibition with a fundraising event to support Buckham Fine Arts Project. Artists are encouraged to submit work, FEE-FREE, to participate in this outrageously fun exhibition party. All Artwork must be for sale with a retail price of $500 or less. All sales will be split 50/50 between artists and Buckham. The event will be “cash and carry” allowing collectors to take the work home!

Artists will be notified of their acceptance status by February 28, 2026 via email.
Artwork Delivery: March 14 - 18, 2026
We ask that artwork is structurally sound and ready to hang.
B.Y.O.C. exhibition dates: March 27 and March 28, 2026 at Buckham Gallery.
Unsold work from the main event on March 27 will be left up for Saturday 3/28, when the general public may enter the gallery and add to their collections too. After the close of the BYOC show on 3/28, artists will pick up unsold work between March 31 and April 3, 2026.
Sales checks for sold artwork will be cut within 30 business days, or by May 8, 2026, and mailed to artists.

- Artists may submit as many times as desired, however an average of three works are generally chosen per artist.
Artwork must be for sale, maximum retail price of $500

Artwork Delivery: March 14 - 18, 2026
- Artists are responsible for coordinating all packing, transportation, delivery, or shipping and return shipping of their artwork.
We ask that artwork is structurally sound and ready to hang.
- Loose works on paper should be prepared for presentation in a print rack. As collectors are able to take their purchases home at the event it has been found that unprotected paper is vulnerable to damage.

Everyone is invited to attend this outrageously fun exhibition party. Tickets will be available for purchase.
Exhibiting artists may purchase a ticket to attend the event when dropping off artwork. “Plus 1” tickets may be purchased at the same rate. Artists do NOT have to purchase a ticket to have their work exhibited in B.Y.O.C., only to attend the fundraising event on March 27. The discounted Exhibiting Artist tickets valid for general admission for 7 to 10 PM event. The gallery will be open to the public on March 28 for "The Day After".
“B.Y.O.C. The Day After” - Saturday, March 28
Buckham Gallery will be open from 12 to 5 PM. All artwork left from the previous night will be available for purchase in "grab and go" style. Gallery visitors enjoy viewing the exhibition and adding to their collections in the quiet aftermath of B.Y.O.C. The Day After.
